«This is my DREAM That was like some soap opera shit.»
DAD: My husband has, in my eyes, an unhealthy relationship with our 9-year-old daughter. Six days out of seven, he sleeps in the same bed with her. Should I be worried or is this normal? It will be very easy for him to get defensive. Is your husband happy?

We live 10 miles apart and have shared custody of our almost 7 year old daughter. I have found recently last 6 months to a year that he and she are sleeping together just about every night. Now I allow her to sleep with me when it storms or when she's sick and I though that was the case with him as well. Although I'm not worried about anything inappropriate happening, I am worried that he is using her as a comfort for being alone.

My Boyfriend’s Daughter Insists on Sleeping in the Same Bed as Us
See i can understand you saying 'its weird for a child to be in a parents bed' but I dont get why it would be weird for a dad to share a bed with his kids but not a mum. Surely if you think one is weird you think both are weird? I actually think its very natural for a child to share a parents bed but it was the singling out of 'dads' in particular i found a bit odd about the previous post.
My questions pertain to the father of my son, who has two daugthers from a previous marriage. They are 13 and 9. Apparently the girls still sleep in his bed, or will go to his room at night mainly the older one when they stay with him each week we share a home part-time but not with his daughters. He says he rubs her stomach to help her fall asleep, while lying in bed with her. I have expressed that I feel this is inappropriate behavior, due to her age, and the fact that she has developed and has started menstruating.
